As Evansville's website developer experts we look at providing great service to all types of businesses and enjoy helping companies get to their goals for their websites. When we first met Bob Tenbarge he was using a service provided by his Phone company's marketing department. For around the price of a television ad. They were not seeing the results that they needed from their website and it was not showing them very well online. We developed the website so that it was easy to navigate and their customers could quickly contact them for estimates.
We also built it so that they could add new sections as their business grew as well as making it easy for them to upload new photos to their online portfolio and add Client testimonials when they recieved them. This has made a huge impact on the level of contacts that they recieve because of the company. Within the first week of launch they recieved more emails through their new site than they had ever recieved before. It gives us satisfaction in knowing that we are providing both an easy to use website and valuable sales resource to our clients here in evansville.
We helped in updating Espanola Valley Humane Society's website to allow them to better accept donations, sell tickets to events, along with other normal maintenance tasks for the site. The site had been pretty neglected as most of the volunteers did not have the experience to maintain the updates that was needed for the website.
When Don first came to Chris McIntosh Designs he had the impression that using a database driven website would be too complicated for him and would make it so that he could not easily update the site. His old site was built on older html technologies and was difficult to update. Chris McIntosh Designs walked Don through how he could use Drupal and Ubercart to take and process credit card payments through his bank. We worked in conjunction with his bank and built a new payment gateway module for Ubercart to connect to the myVirtualMerchant, Elavon's, online credit card processing service.
We utilized SSL to secure his clients payment information and make the transfer of that information safe for their purchases. Another big step in his new site was automating the Software activation process. Before Don had to process emails from his clients and provide them with the correct activation code. It was cumbersome and hard to keep track of old activations. With Don's new site the customers can log into their account and activate the software when they are ready to. Keeping in step with the trend of making life easier for the software developer.
Candace is a C|Net Journalist and writes for several of their articles. She needed to have a Website so that she could post articles and links back to her articles on C|Net. She also needed a place that she could maintain a blog and share some of the pictures of places that she has been.
I built the site using a stadard Drupal installation, including views and a slideshow module that would help her by rotating her gallery images on the front page. This keeps her front page always fresh and with new material. Being as busy as she is I also included a feature that allows her to write her content or add her articles ahead of time, but only publish them on the scheduled date. This is an extremely useful feature for online journalists and also for any business who has seasonal content that they want to rotate on their site. I was contacted by her boyfriend Vincent who contracted me to build the site. Here below is what he had to say about our service:
No worries on our end, since everything you've done has been totally standup. I know Candace is anxious to start filling in content this weekend. Thanks again for your work and time. Please feel free to pass my email on should any potential client ask for a reference. I've got nothing but good things to say.

Glory Ministries was a website built for both selling products as well as sharing stories with one another. Along with the website layout, we built a flash introduction, ajax form for users submitting their stories to the site. The site was built to make things easy to handle.
Building the All Blown Up Inflatables site was a challenge because of the colors, and the amounts of content. It could easily have been a train wreck, but luckily we were able to design a website that allowed the owners to be able to display all of their rental items.
When some of my friends came to me needing a design for their new gaming clan website, I was glad to do some work for them. The design was for a Halo gaming group so it was important to get the feel of futuristic military and team work. My resulting design was well received.
With Kieselplisky.com they had a existing design they liked, but needed to make the site easier to update and maintain. With our experience of Drupal and other CMS we knew that their site would be a good candidate to convert it from plain HTML into a dynamic website. This is one of our earlier sites and they have had some great success with it, even landing a contract with the US Military to utilize their system for prevention of injuires.
